Privacy Policy
Company: Belle Biz Marketing • Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Effective: February 18, 2026 • Last updated: February 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Belle Biz Marketing (“Belle Biz,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our websites, applications, booking pages, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
1. Scope and Who This Applies To
The Platform may be used by:
- Business Users (owners, admins, managers, staff) using Business Services; and
- Consumers booking with a participating Business through Belle Biz-powered pages.
In many cases, a participating Business decides how it collects and uses its customer information. Where a Business uses the Platform to manage its own customer relationships, the Business — not Belle Biz — determines the purposes and means of that processing and is the party responsible under applicable privacy law. Belle Biz acts solely as a service provider to that Business. Consumers with requests concerning a Business's records, bookings, or marketing preferences should direct them to that Business.
2. Personal Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Business Users: account/contact info, role, business details, billing/invoice details, support communications.
- Consumers: contact details (e.g., name, phone, email depending on configuration), booking details, notes you provide, and check-in inputs where enabled.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
Device/usage data (IP address, device identifiers, browser/app version, page interactions), and security/audit logs.
2.3 Check-In App Data (Tablet + QR Code + Phone)
If enabled by a Business, we may collect/generate minimal check-in data such as phone number entered for check-in, timestamp, location identifier, and operational logs; and configuration details (e.g., promotional image displayed).
2.4 Marketing and Messaging Data (Email/SMS)
If messaging tools are enabled, we may process/store delivery logs and metadata (send time, delivery status, error codes), opt-in/opt-out/ suppression list signals, and message content where needed for service delivery, troubleshooting, compliance, or as configured by the Business.
2.5 Website / SEO / Social Media Services Data
For Professional Services, we may process administrative contact details, website configuration data (DNS/hosting/CMS settings) where authorized, analytics events where configured, access tokens/permissions for third-party tools if authorized, and communications/drafts/approvals.
2.6 Payments and Merchant Services (Limited)
Payments are processed by third-party providers. Belle Biz does not store full payment card numbers. We may receive limited transaction/integration metadata (status, amount, timestamps, terminal identifiers, reference IDs) for troubleshooting, reporting, reconciliation, or platform support.
Where Belle Biz provides referral/onboarding assistance for merchant services through a partnership with Fiserv Canada, we may collect onboarding-related administrative details needed to facilitate setup. Underwriting/approvals/settlement decisions are handled by the merchant services provider under its agreements.
2.7 AI Assistant and Automated Features
Our website and the Platform may provide AI-powered assistant, drafting, summarization, and automated support features. Messages and inputs you submit to these features are transmitted to and processed by third-party AI service providers to generate responses, and may be retained by us for security, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and improvement purposes. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, payment card details, health information, or confidential information through these features.

- Secure the Platform

- Improve features and services
- Comply with law
We also use personal information to develop, test, and improve our products and services, including to train, evaluate, and improve models, algorithms, and automated features, using de-identified or aggregated information where practicable.
4. Legal Bases / Consent (Canada/Alberta Approach)
We process personal information on lawful grounds including service delivery, legitimate operational purposes (security/fraud prevention), consent where required (especially marketing), and legal compliance. Businesses are responsible for marketing consent and opt-out compliance where they use our tools to message their customers.
5. How We Share Personal Information

- In corporate transactions with safeguards
We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of “sell,” and we do not share SMS opt-in information with third parties for their independent marketing.
Aggregated and de-identified information. We may create aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you or any Business. Such information is not personal information and is not subject to this Policy. We may use, retain, and disclose it for any lawful purpose, including benchmarking, industry reporting, security, analytics, product development, and the training and improvement of models and algorithms.
6. Cross-Border Transfers
We may process/store information in Canada and other jurisdictions (including the United States) where we or our service providers operate, using reasonable safeguards.
7. Retention
We retain information as needed to provide services, comply with legal/tax/security obligations, and maintain backups/logs for reasonable periods. Upon expiry/termination, we delete or de-identify within a reasonable period subject to legal and technical limits.
